Finishing Out My Second Week

Hello Friends,

To update you I’d like to start out by saying thank you for all of your prayers as I transition into this dicipleship training school. It has been a lot to get used to. But I have already begun seeing the Lord begin to move in not only my life but also the lives of those around me.

This past week we have been learning about how to hear the voice of God. During the week I have had the privilege of hearing lectures from Donna Jordan on how it is our intrinsic right as sons and daughters of Christ to hear the voice of God. Something that I have repeatedly been hearing from the Lord throughout the course of this week is that He has a plan for me through this school and that I can’t possible imagine the incredible ways He is going to use me for His glory.

Apart from just lectures, me and my classmates have also had multiple ministry opportunities in the local community of Kona Hawaii. We have joined in serving meals to athletes at one of the local highschools and been apart of a program that offers people with disabilities a chance to swim in the ocean. It’s been an absolute joy of mine to be able to experience serving in the local communities while learning about the character of God and growing in my relationship with Him.

In addition, I am already looking forward to the outreach portion of my DTS in which we will most likely be going somewhere in southeast Asia (Thailand and the Philippines) for two months. However, I need to raise $2500 as the first portion of my outreach fees. This first payment will be due on February 9th. I am trusting the Lord that He has called me into this. If you feel led by the Lord and would like to donate, the link is below.

Thank you again for all of your love and support.
