As my lecture phase of DTS comes to a close, I’ve begun to look back on what God has done in my life and the lives of those around me over the past 3 months.
I got baptized at the beach where the Bible first arrived in the Hawaiian islands.
My team and I visited Maui and spent time serving a local church that has a ministry of feeding families from Lahina (the area of Maui that was affected by wildfires back in August 2023).
The next week my team and I served as camp leaders for a kid’s camp in Milioli’i, (a fishing village on the southern end of the Big Island).
I got to be a camp counsellor for the first time in my life! 🙂
Now as I look ahead to my two month outreach in the Philppines, I am excited to see what God has planned!
