All over Europe, and all over the world, the armies of good are committing violent acts of generosity and love. From the Northern-most parts of Norway to the southern Greek islands we see evidence mounting that Christians and ordinary people who have lived under the liberating regimes of Europe and North America are exporting this life-giving Gospel and its ramifications all over the world, even while they enjoy its many benefits at home.
They are willing to die for their cause. This phenomenon has been continuing since the first century. It was demonstrated just yesterday somewhere in the Middle East.
There are cells of these Christians dotted all over the “unfree” world. Funded by charities based in countries like the U.S. and South Korea, these subversive entities thrive where oppressive dictators and malevolent theocratic governments can’t seem to keep a lid on them. And they are seeing massive numbers of disaffected would-be Islamic radicals give up their devotion to Islam and follow Jesus.
Even on the Western front, where the armies of jihad have sent many combatants and recruiters, these armies of love are gaining ground. Even in the wake of a major victory for the forces of darkness in Brussels, their acts of loving-kindness grow.
Be alert! Be on the lookout! Chances are that in the very city you live there are bands of true believers gathering for the purposes of training. Engaging in Intercessory prayer, confession, and worship, these warriors are getting ready for battles that they face on a daily basis. They call these cells churches and they mean business!
You can know if you are among Christians by their love. Wherever they have community they tend to live in relative harmony by caring for one another. Wherever they go outside of their enclaves they seem to exude this love both in countenance and in deed. Committing radical actions, such as paying for strangers groceries, taking care of orphans, and caring for the needs of neighbors, they change the communities in which they live.
If left unchecked, this could break out into an all out revival and usher in the return of Jesus Christ Himself.
We are one in the spirit, we are one in the Lord, and we pray that all unity may one day be restored.
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, yes they’ll know we are Christians by our love.
Words from my childhood singing resonated after reading your Love is on the Move. Wishing you well and praying for you. Judith
